So today I go to work only to find outthey're letting me go. They told me that due to the extreme slow down in business, they had to cut someone and being as I was the last one hired, it was me. I am applying for unemployment tomorrow online, but someone said you had to be there for 90 days, they let me go on the 88th day. (convenient) However, I have Two vacation days they are still paying me for so I guess I'll find out if that will count towards it.




I'm trying to find a job now, and I'll be applying everywhere but thought I'd give here a shot too......if you know of anything please let me know. (I know I have a goofy username ((formerly Chris@SCautos)) but when it comes to work, I don't play around)

I was just laid off from my job as a Logistics Coordinator. I have basic computer knowledge and can type at a decent rate. I was only there for three months....

Before that I owned a small Car Dealership for a year that I decided to terminate when the economy took a downturn.

I am one class away from an Associates Degree in Business Management.

If anyone knows of anything, please let me know......

dude Lowes is hiring at like 9.50 and hour, it might suck, but it would be a start, and at least help with keeping money in the pockets

 

Probably beneath what you want to be doing, but I was at Office Depot in Williamsburg earlier today and they had 2 now hiring signs up.

 

AAA is ALWAYS hiring might not be your field of money, (tow truck drivers start @ $11.00/hr) but something is better than nothing ...right...pm me with ?'s

MUST HAVE/BE

-Clean driving record
-DrugFree (pass a drug test, and they test A LOT)
-Clean criminal record
-NOT A FUCKING DUMBASS WHO WILL JUST TEAR UP THE TRUCKS!!!!!
-21 years or over (for tow truck driver) 18 for dispatch, but they are only like $9/hr

 

Times like this aint nothing below bringin home a paycheck, im in this situation now. I had a good job but I broke my ankle so I cant walk so much anymore.

 

Armed security pays really good......start out $17 but forget about having weekends off.....if you need info let me know.

 

wish i could apply for any of those jobs & get them 9/hr at advance to be a manager with out the position or pay sucks ass.
