almost a year ago bought a wrecked s2000 it has just been sitting in storage.
finally have some funds to fund a new project wondering if s2000 motor can be swapped and converted to fwd into a eg or ek.
have a eg hatch and or a ek coupe id like to swap motor into since neither are my dd and could handle down time.
was told by someone a while back a company makes a tranny conversion to convert to a kseries fwd tranny .
have no idea if mounts are produced or will havt to be custom made havnt seen swap done round here and also if i will face any serious electrical issues.
im just dont know where to start with this swap. honestly have a bseries boosted hatch and swapped coupe but never dealt with a rwd to fwd swaps
this may be a dumb question to some but just looking for any help i havt to do something with the swap

Yes Inline did it using an adaptor plate and k series tranny.

 

You will need some serious fabrication, if I remember correctly Inline Pro had a hell of a time getting the tranny situated right.

Might be easier to just give them all your monies to have it done without the headache. But, whats the fun in that. I would say sell the s2k and buy a K-series if you want a cool swap. At least that is FWD - FWD.

This would definitely be a cool build though if you do decide to go forth, take pics through the process / build thread!!!!

since u have a s2000 donor car.

i used to think about mating an s2000 motor with a civic wagon 4x4, awd yay

 

It's not much different than doing a K-series swap and costs more. Both motors are coil pack, both motors have somewhat the same HP/TQ. S2000 motors aren't that fast


If your going to do an S2000 motor in the civic, please do it RWD .
