very excited! Still going to try to keep the eclipse if I can swing it. It's just crazy how much potential these cars have for a little money. The car already has intake/exhaust, so add a s/c pulley and a tune and bam 450rwhp for under $500.

These things are near impossible to find unmodded, especially black coupes.

 

No joke on the bang for the buck factor. Just don't overlook suspension. A intake/exhaust/pullied cobra on stock suspension is a bitch to get to hook up, and wheelhop is prettybad too.

 

That thing would be beautiful if it was lower. Great choice.

 

Yea I'm looking into some suspension things, I've heard a nice set of drag radials greatly reduces wheel hop.

Supposedly getting hard poly or Delrin bushings for the IRS takes care of the wheel hop a lot too. Way too much compliance in the stock rubber ones from what I've heard. Mustangs with IRS are a lot more exciting to me than the millions with solid axles.

 

I have a thing for Cobras. Do you mind me asking how much you paid for Black Magic?

They did the Cobra right! I dont know why it took so long for Ford to do independent rears.

Nice buy; unmolested cobras are hard to come buy, especially in black.

Ford still didn't get it right.
