I am looking into joining the m.a.m.m.a's boys fighting/training club in yorktown. i have a few friends that are into mixed martial arts fighting and i spar with them quite often. my neighbor is a member and has been trying to get me to stop by and play around a little ever since i commented on the mammas boys sticker on the back of the truck, and hes seen me and some buddies fightin in the yard. just wondering if anyone here is into fighting (real fighting not punk ass kids talkin shit), and also if anyone is already a member? just want some details or some other clubs around here to check out.

I have only heard bad things about them. I have friends who have been training for almost a couple years now that did not like it at all. I can ask their exact thoughts on it later when i see them. If i remember correctly it is structured towards tournaments, if that is what you want. You can kind of tell that too from their website.

yea i looked a the website, and im not really interested in tourny's just because i dont wanna draw attention to myself as being a fighter at work. im more interested in somewhere with some good training and some sparring. i dnt have time to get too serious. i knew a guy that rented a small warehouse, and went to trian with him, but all they guys that fought there were at least 100 lbs heavier than me and i got knocked out cold everytime.looking for something with better weight class options and such
