Have a 97 ford escort for sale. Its been a great car to me with no major problems since i bought it, just basic maintenance. New front and rear brakes <8k mi, 2 new front tires w 60%+ tread atleast, 50%+ on rear, new tie rod at last inspection, all fluids full and clean, trans fluid changed. No major leaks. Car has about 165k miles. Battery is about a year old. Clean interior, body has normal 12 y/o dings all around, there are 2 fairly large dents in the left rear door like someone kicked it, was like that when I bought it.

When I bought it, the alternator was blown so that was replaced. I got a rebuilt one but as of about a month ago the lights started flashing because the alternator is now going bad. Battery light lights up randomly but still drives and charges. Also the shifter bushing broke and is laying in the exhaust but it still shifts fine with 0 grinds. Other than that those are the only known problems with the car.

Never had a C/E light and no other known under hood problems. Good DD to travel from point A to point B, super reliable, and cheap!!
