Fellow member of dragva, vadriven et cetera,

Some of you may know me and other not, but that does not really matter here. I recently graduated college and thus my internship is coming to an end at the end of June. I am having a hell of a time finding a new job. Been using Craigslist, Monster and Career builder. Now I am going to use VAdriven. I was wondering if some of you kind folks would be willing to pass around my resume.

I graduated with a degree in Computer Science and have held two internships. One with System Planning Corporation working on radar systems and the other with C2 Tecnologies doing application and web development. My skills include Java, JavaScript, HTML, XML, CSS, ASP, .Net, C, C++, C# and a slew of other things. If you think you can help me out let me know and I will send my resume to you.

I prefer to find work in the DC Metro Area, so Northern VA, Maryland and DC. I really appreciate your guys time in reading this, and even more if ya help out. I know it is a tough time so I am not really getting my hopes up but I am going to use every available resource I can.

Starting out pay is crappy, but you can move up relatively fast.

 

Awesome, I really appreciate that resource. I work for a private sector company and the last few weeks I have been meeting with some people from India if you know what I mean. To get them up to speed.

 

What kind of work are you looking for? Programming? Networking? Helpdesk?

 

I can do all of that pretty much. I am definitly a computer oriented technology field guy.

 

IIRC some radar jobs were being offered for the dahlgren area. bit of a stretch from nova, but might get into some cool stuff with the Navy.
