My Boosted Brick.
So I am making this thread to primarily show the transformation my car is making at this point in time. For right now, I am going to post a short story of the cars life and pictures of the car when i bought it, and when i went up to see it at nftuans shop being painted....I pick it up tomorrow so i will post the finished product when i get it. Some of you may recognize the car from its sweet paint job lol.
The car started out in williamsburg from a Buick dealer who sold it to a business man who couldn't handle it and traded it in 8,000 miles later. A man in glouscter bought the car in 1989 with 8k on it for $12,000 and used it for a daily driver for the next 13 years. In 2002 they bought another car and this one became a backup car, and didnt get many miles.
I was looking for a car and was about to buy another DSm when this popped up on craigslist for $5000 at 10pm: I called immediately and the guy said a man promised to come with cash the next day (after being on craigslist for 5 minutes) but he would call me if he fell through.
So the next day rolls around and me and my buddy are chilling with Ed at the HP factory in portsmouth when this guy calls and says its still for sale. Drove all the way there, and the car had a hesitation and was in the condition from the first picture....No bumper fillers, small rust in the trunk and really dirty. he wants to get rid of it quick because he doesn't have time ti restore it or figure out why its running shitty.
Blah blah blah cut out some unimportant details, now to the good stuff: I wound up paying $4500 for the car, it only had 98,000 ORIGINAL miles on it (verified) and on the way home it dies cause of the hesitation problem. TURNS OUT the freaking alternator was unplugged and it was draining the battery causing it to run shitty. The car runs awesome now.

This isnt even as good as the paint is going to get.....and it was dusty as you can see..
I reccomend anyone who wants quality work for an awesome price to contact duane......I am very glad I did, I wont trust any of my other cars with anyone else.

Nope just autos. And they only came in black, no other colors.
here is the pypes stainless system I put on the car before i brought it to duane....it will do for now until I go for my stage 2 build.

I saw this up at the shop when I went to go pull the fenders on his little convertible sitting next to your car. It was right when they were starting to sand it down, glad to see it is coming out awesome!
