ok let me put this in the first post...
ABSOLUTELY NO TRADES!.. Negotiable on the price of the car but no lowballs
First off i'm selling this car for a very close family friend, if this isn't ok please let me know.. i'm working closely with him so any/all questions can go through me and get answered in a timely manner.
Car is a 1996 Acura 2.5 TL, that has one previous owner. The previous owner was my friends mother who lived in Philly so the car has relatively low mileage (116K or so if I remember correctly). She just bought a lexus, so she gave the car to her son (Tyrell) He is currently trying to build a race RSX and doesn't need a 3rd car.
the car got hit in a parking lot a while back.. I helped him push the dent out of the bumper, there is no damage to the subframe or the reinforcement bar or anything.. and we actually bought the paint.. and will be re-painting the back bumper as soon as it stops raining.
The Bad:
Car needs a VSS, he already bought a new gauge cluster as well thinking that was the problem, but a mechanic told him that the speed sensor that is installed if for the wrong year TL.
I believe the AC needs to be recharged/serviced.
Other than that the car runs fine.
If you give the phone number a call any time between 6am and 4pm you can talk directly to the owner and he can provide the VIN# for carfax and set up meeting times.
