Default ctr in a 88-91 dx???

can anyone tell me if a b16b ctr engine will fit in a 88-91 civic dx?

alright say i just ordered a complete swap from password jdm? should that include everything or what?

It will fit however if you just order the swap it will not. You will need mounts, shift linkages, re-wiring you engine harness and ecu plugs to run 4 injectors instead of the 2 you are running right now. there is a lot of work involve and you can really set yourself up for a lot of problems if you do not know what you are doing, especially when it comes to the wiring. If you need any help or to be pointed in the right direction, PM me. I've do a lot of work on 88-91 civics.

Most likely not, I do not think that passwordjdm or any other places online sell a bolt in swap for the EF/CRX's. You will have to go to Hasport to get the rest of the parts needed.

The CTR swap has a hydro trans and your civic has a cable trans (conversion parts needed)
You will have to do a lot of wiring to make the CTR work in your car if it has the DPFI engine in it currently. You will also want to convert the car to OBD1 to make tuning options open up (so to speak).
