97 Red Audi A4 2.8 Auto, Lexington VA
A large branch fell on the car - the old thread is below this information. Selling now for $3000.
The day before I was going to deliver this car to a guy in Richmond for my asking price of $4100, a large branch fell over onto the car. It didn't fall with a whole lot of inertia. It was just a branch and hit some power lines on the way down, but it did some minor cosmetic damage. There are a few dents scattered around the car, but none on the doors and front passenger quarterpanel. The dents are minor and the paint held up well.
It still runs just fine, there is no mechanical damage whatsoever, it is purely cosmetic. All the doors open and close just fine, no squeaking. If you can deal with some minor damage you can pick this car up for a steal!
New pictures are below, and my old ad is below that so you can see what it looks like outside.
I am also putting in new brakes this upcoming week so that'll be a bonus.

In Lexington, VA:
I just got this Red A4 a little over a year ago, love the car, I'm moving to DC though and don't need it. This car is now for sale, $4100 ($1400 under book price). I'm in a bit of a hurry to get rid of it so PM me!
Here's the details:
113800 miles
Clean inside and out
Serviced regularly, I have all records
Serviced with all synthetic fluids
Timing belt replaced at 90k
New plugs and wires
Recently replaced tire rods
HIDs
All black leather interior
Flowmaster exhaust, Vogtland springs (1.5" drop), still handles like stock, really smooth
Kenwood head unit
The exhaust is quiet but a little throaty from the muffler, it's good sound and it's one of the quieter cars I've driven on the highway. The cruise control is unreliable. There's a solder joint on the cruise control computer that went bad. It can be fixed for about ~$50 by ordering a new computer on eBay. Just something I haven't gotten around to yet.
There's been a bit of an exhaust rattle developing which is why I dropped the price so much. It's not so bad but the mechanics in Lexington are notoriously bad. Upshot of that for you - the passenger's side portion of the downpipe is new, the mid-muffler is new, and a lot of the piping is new. After spending over $500 to get rid of this rattle just to find out it's the driver's side downpipe... frustrating to say the least. But at least it's nailed down and I may find a good mechanic and get it fixed but if I do the price will go up slightly. Car still runs perfectly with the rattle.
The speakers are all stock, except the rear-right which was torn so I replaced it with a Phoenix Gold 6.5. It blends well.
I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

Thanks guys - Derrick, didn't know you were on Drag! I'm still jealous of that Audi you're driving around these days, what a beaut.
I'm not sure how much I want for it outright because I'd rather just do a trade and keep it simple. I'll take offers. These models aren't worth as much as I think they should be. They're great cars and have really plush interiors. Hell, I still have the dealer receipt for $44k in the glove box. We'll see what kind of offers come in.

Nah, man, I do remember you - Jimmy, right? When I wrote that last reply I was a little out of it, my bad. I hope the Teg treated you well, it was a fun car but not really my style anymore. But then again, neither is the A4 - I'm looking for a happy medium between the two.
Make an offer guys, I'm not going to be too picky about it.
