you sure its a y7? looks like a z6 and its a ex so it would make sense for that motor to be in it.

it says D16Y7 on the bottom end, and i didn't see any VTEC solenoid so i'm just assuming it's a Y7 head, that and when the P28 was in there it was throwing a code for VTEC spool valve, with no solenoid i just switched to a P06 and no more CEL

yea it runs fine, normal honda clicking, the only thing that i have found so far that is not right is the temperature gauge. i know hondas typically run below the half way line but this one runs a little above the half way line on the temp gauge, but once it hits that operating temperature it stays there, haven't had any problems with it over heating. also it has a surge sometimes, comes and goes, don't know if something just needs to be cleaned or a new iacv?
