Description:
As for the Impala and to explain about the hood, I was on the interstate and the hood flew up. The license plate caught on to the rubber surrounding the hood hinge handle and I didn't realize it did not lock after I shut it. Luckily it did not crack the windshield and left a small dent on the roof. I have replaced it with an original hood, primered white and ready for new paint.
The car was restored in 97. The exterior is a pearl white paint with minor chips and cracking. The 327 engine has also been rebuilt with approximately 1,000 miles on the rebuild. It has 4-wheel disc brakes, 13x7 Dayton wire wheels, and white n teal vinyl interior. There is minor rust on rear fender wells. The head unit is a cassette player and there is a cd disc changer in the glove compartment. Airbags were installed in the rear, but there is nothing in the trunk... so you can only manually add and release air to them from the trunk. I have the old receipts for about $10,000 that was invested into the vehicle. But again, all that work was done years ago... So in all honesty... it'll need new paint, minor body work, and sand blasting of surface rust from the undercarriage...
I have a clear title in hand

post some pics of the daytons...on the hub where the spokes are ...it will have dayton engraved in it...also on the knock off it will be engraved...post some pics..
Yeah the car was originally a teal green color... Most of the car is original... I agree the people who had it before me could've done a better job painting it... There is a little bondo in the back where you see the cracks in the pics... I don't believe it is a complete butcher job tho, but I understand what you're saying... I never claimed it to be a show winner, and I don't think it would need much to bring the car back to life. I wanted to give it a complete make over, but I don't have the time or money to so I'm just trying to get it to someone who can... The rims are real daytons w/ real dayton knock offs aswell, bought back in 05' and need some cleaning up... pic is provided... Thanks for the inquiries so far... any questions please feel free to ask, not here to hide a thing...
