Mini-Me and '00 EX 5sp Tran
I have a complete 1.5l MiniMe engine that I no longer have a need for so it is up for sale or trade. I have a 1995 Civic LX with a D15b VTEC swap in it, and I bought this as a backup or to do some mods on, which I never got around to doing. When I got the engine, I put on a new headgasket, new water pump, and a new timing belt, just for good maintanence measures. I have not run this engine, nor have I heard it run, but when I got it it was understood to be in good running condition, and when I did the maintanence it looked very mechanically sound. The only issue is that the crank pulley is chipped and will need to be replaced. It also does not include flywheel. The price for the engine as-is is going to be $250. I am willing to trade for it as well. The only things I am interested in trading for is either a complete B18 long block, or a B-Series hydro transmission. Depending on the condition of these, I will be willing to trade plus cash-on-my-end.
I also have a 5 speed manual transmission from a '00 Civic EX that I bought to use in conjunction with the engine above. The transmission case is marked "B000". The transmission is in good condition and shifts perfectly with no grinds. I wanted to swap this into my Civic and scrap my LX transmission, but couldnt justify the amount of work it would take just to do that, so I never did. I would like to get $200 for this transmission, as I paid $250 and never got to use it. Also, as with the engine, I will be open to trade for a B18 long block or B-Series hydro transmission and would be willing to trade and offer cash-on-my-end depending on the condition.
