Are you planning on getting the pups registered? I'm asking because some of those puppies appear to be merle. The ADBA and UKC will not register any pitbull carrying the merle gene and the AKC will not register any pitbull.

Merle is not a disqualification for the Stafford Shire Terrier. It is for the American Pitbull Terrier. (http://www.ukcdogs.com/WebSite.nsf/B...dNovember12008) I would think he'd have a hard time registering the litter since the UKC would consider the parents to be two different breeds.

The sire is listed as being half Razor's Edge, I know there was a petition a while back where UKC members were trying to get the Razor's Edge breed license revoked and the UKC was apparently looking into it. I have no idea what, if anything, ever came of that. The UKC seems to take a special interest in the APBT since the first dog ever registered by the UKC was an APBT that belonged to the founder of the UKC.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying they're bad dogs. If you're looking for a pet/companion they're just as good as a registered and papered dog.
