SR20 bogging under boost
Im pretty new to the nissan scene. My car started acting funny all of the sudden. When i accelerate, it seems to build boost fine, up until about 3500RPM, when it sputters and bogs. It feels and sounds almost like a leak in the intercooler piping, but I've checked it and its all tight. I unplugged my MAF and it ran like complete shit, so im assuming its not that. I may need to clean it? I've also noticed the car seems to be running rich, as I can smell raw fuel pretty heavy in my exhaust. any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks
Yeah check the ground on your coil pack harness and the condition of your coil pack harness and coil packs themselves. They should be more of a white color then a yellow color. If you have that spark plug cover on there remove it as it just traps heat in there and messes up the harness/coil packs.
You need to make sure the coil packs aren't cracked or anything like that.
Also check out your spark plugs - check the gap on them as well. I don't remember off hand what they're supposed to be at.

Double check your intercooler piping. Then check it again.
Download the SR FSM and test the MAF per the instructions. Just because the car nearly dies when you unplug it doesn't mean it's 100%.
I drove my SR with an MAF that was gradually going bad for a long time, and I didn't know it until it got really bad. Replaced it and it felt like a brand new car.
Test the MAF first.
