i got a ford expedition 4 wheeldrive and i am trying to lower it but never done it on a 4 wheel drive if any one can give me some directions on how or where to get the parts to doit i will really apreciate it buy the way the truck is a 97 thx

how hard would it be to do the 4 wheel to a 2 wheel swap? my expo is 4 wheel drive and my denali its all wheel drive i know that i cant do shit on that one.

jeeps are so damn versitile and cross compatible lord knows what springs he has under there...could be stock and it just the wheels...could have flipped the leaves or some crazy shit who knows

yea the AWD denali...i wouldnt mess with. its a whole nother animal that i know nothing about, i suppose you could drop it like any allwheel drive car...sti etc but that really depends on if they even make a suspension package for it. if you wanted it done right im sure you could go about it the same way as a low rider on bags and fab up a air ride suspension. would be seriously custom though.

as for 4wd to 2wd swap they both usually start on the same chassi and get different parts as they go down the assembly line....as far as i know it would be a direct bolt in swap but you may want to check into that for the variables that you may incounter. to be honest you might be able to find someone who has a 2wd willing to swap with you...i know if i had one i would. those ford 8.8 rears are right nice lock er up and go rock crawling lmao. anyways start flipping through the interweb at lowrider forums custom mini trucks etc. ive seen a few blazers lowered dont see why an explorer would be an exception....both come in 2w and 4wd.

all else fials sell the exploder or try and get a trade on something better for your plans....just stay the hell away from mazda b2200 etc. the engines are horrible......HORRIBLE ive had 3 of them. maybe a blazer xtreme or s10
