i got a b16a in my crx with spoon sports ecu and stuff and i noticed today that i dont have a TPS on my intake mani like i should.. the question is do i need to get one or is it okay to leave it without one? thanks

you need it...you will get CEL and run in safe mode which means no vtec...

are you sure its not there? Im not familier with the b16, but on my engine (sr20), it wont effect what you can rev to but it will cause the car to stall and have a very unstable idle. It probably causes other problems as well.

my car runs perfect, no problems at all, i was just curious someone told me i wouldnt get enough oil at wide open throttle without it so i just wanted to ask some other people

Default TPS
The TPS should not be on the manifold but on the opposite side of the throttle linkage on the throttle body.
