no dramatic story behind this. i wasn't tearing down the road going double the speed limit.
cop on foot with radar gun walked in front of me at the bottom of a hill, apparantly i was going 50 in 35. i talked to him respectfully, he took minor pity and gave me a 2 point "failure to obey highway sign" instead of 4 point speeding.
many of you are thinking 'why do you care about this?' well i am on dmv control probation and i would have been done with that probation in september had i not gotten this ticket. if i cant dodge this, the probation starts all over again for another 2 year period, and if i get another ticket in the next 6 months, i lose my license again, repeat as needed.
does anyone know a lawyer who can get failure to obey to turn into a non-points offense so i can continue laying low and get the hell out of the system?

I probably do deserve it, but that's not the point. I am willing to pay money to make it go away.

My record sucks, but is getting better. Previous DUI and multiple speeding tickets, none very recent.

Office is right across the street from the courthouse and knows most of the judges. Great experience and rates. Got me out of trouble when I was on my probation period b/c of my DWI.

 

I was going to say all was chill till I saw the DUI, na dude you need to stay on probation. Not really chill, lost several to many friends to people driving saying oh I am chill I just had 8 drinks.



Smoke weed or something at least then you will drive slow.

 

Thats a horrible alternative. You don't know his DUI situation, it may have been a .09 for all it matters.
