Looking to get some sunrise shots down at the beach. Right now I am thinking Sandbridge. Would you guys agree with that, or recommend other locations? I think the Oceanfront/resort area wouldn't be that ideal due to lights from cars, hotels, resaurants, etc.....

 

sandbridge is a good one, pungo bridge, and knotts island always has killer sunrise/sunsets

seagull pier at the bridge tunnel, or the end of the jetty in rudee inlet is a fine place.

 

I know this little spot in norfolk that you can get into a get a few really nice pictures right before sunset. Its got a perfect spot for your car are havent seen anyone use this before..i really want to do a shoot there as soon as I get a car worth it.

 

If you want your car in it, you might could get it on the boardwalk at the 3rd street Jetty entrance, doubt anybody but surfers would bother you that early in the am. If you looking for just scenic, then try the North End or Croatan. The Croatan parking lot might not be a bad place for a car shot, but you will have the dunes as a backdrop instead of the ocean.

 

Another thought is to walk up the sidewalk on the rudee inlet bridge, you might get some good shots out over the beach and jetty from there at sunrise.
