Default FS: 2000 civic si (wierd situation) Turbo motor

So, I was the victim of a theft, long story short, I got my car back, the title is clean, and I just want the car to disappear (I have been given the shaft ) So obviously I see that people are selling these cars for pretty cheap now. 8k or so, I know i will never see the money that I put into it, and iv'e come to terms with that.

So here is the deal, I am going to sell it or try to as she sits.

Price right up front is 8.5k obo

The only bad the car has is what happened during the theft:
-rear bumper is scratched (due to pushing it with another car it looks like)
-ignition switch is hanging (would make it real easy to hide the wires when you fix it)
-and obviously it wont run with what was taken from the engine

Now the engine is going to be my savior in this, I hope.

Iv'e spent over 12k building this engine alone.

InlinePRO built

Head:
B16A2
Type-R cams
InlinePRO valves
InlinePRO springs
InlinePRO retainers
InlinePRO cam gears
3 angle valve job

Block:
B18B1
Bored 2.0
LS micro polished and knife edged crank
C.P. 9:5:1 pistons
Eagle connecting rods
Darton sleves
Type-R oil pump
Tapped oil pan

Will come with a stock B16 transmission

So you buy an almost complete car, you will need a few things to get it running. You can put this car back to running condition with under $400 worth of parts. Or you could throw a turbo kit on this thing, make any kind of power you want and have it back to the way it was no problem.

I'm going to ask 8.5kobo. I understand that you can get a decent running Si for that price, but find one with a fully built motor and only needing a few things, this is really a great platform for someone to take to the next level.

these are pics I took today, I haven't
cleaned it yet. I'm so disgusted with the complete situation, and haven't even wanted to touch the car recently.

Will not come with wheels and roof rack.

I do have some parts that maybe the person who is interested in the car may be interested in, but we'll see when the time comes.

message me for more pictures.

few things after look at the pictures:
-the hood latch was broken by the F***ers a swell, so the hood doesn't latch.
-there is nothing wrong with the front bumper, it doesn't sag like that, I just had it off the other day and hadn't put the side bolts back on.

I'm still confused on how I want to do this, sell it like this, sell it as just a shell and the engine separate, put it back to running condition and sell it. Anyone interested in any of these option, just let me know.

I'm willing to do any combination of anything with parts, engines, shells. Obviously prices will vary. I can also buy a stock B16 and put it in and sell it for 7.5k Just let me know

thanks for the words, but Hell NO the man didn't do anything for me on this one. They were in the process of trying to take more I think I spooked them by coming home late and they just abandoned the job in the process.

The MAN told me that if the prints don't match anything they just drop the case. So it's not that I have anything against the police, it's just the fact that your gonna have to protect your shit on your own, find your shit own your own, and when I find these guys handle shit on my own. I can buy quite a few more weapons and quite a bit of ammo with $8500.

Snapped timing belt....?

Did this happen while the car was running? I read the whole thread and saw nothing on this so please enlighten me.

they cut the timing belt, I assume they were going to try to take the head, and that was the fastest way to get things off. They were surely spooked in the middle of their job, because they only got the valve cover off but the girdles and stuff were not loosened and nothing inside was touched.

So not a snapped timing belt per say, just cut by the a**holes

consider yourself enlightened
