Default Help Shipping a Vehicle coast to coast???

I just bought another car and i would like some input and feedback you guys have had with various auto transporters. The car is coming from Portland, OR to Springfield,Va. The average quote im getting is $900-$1000. I will NOT be using DAS. But i want a company that is gonna take care of the car not just throw it on there and ride away. There are some aftermarket accessories like rims and full coilover suspension . All ideas will be considered, thank you for your help

A guy that was banned recently had his dads supra brought from Cali to here using Horseless Carriages it appeared they were gentle with it but what can you expect ? They load your car on a semi and drive it here ...

Shit I just drove my civic from Seattle here, and my S from NJ here. Good excuse for a road-trip. $300 plane ticket, $300 in gas +/- depending on the car, I changed the oil in the middle from Seattle though.

What's wrong with DAS? I've used them several times to transport Vipers and other SRT vehicles in the past. I just used them to send a Sorento to New Orleans and a Vette to Tampa... Never had a problem.
