Default Where to get a bolt drilled out? (Lower control arm)

Hey all,
Bought myself a beater 95 civic that was on AGXs and Ground Controls. I was putting the stock suspension back on and on the last one, passenger side rear, the fucking bolt that goes through the shock and the lower control arm broke. Anyone know where I could have that removed for cheap?

Or... anyone have an LCA they want to sell me for cheap?

I'm not exactly sure what you're talking about. Maybe I explained wrong. Right now, I have a bolt with no head holding my shock and control arm together. There is no way I can even get to the bushing I don't think.

You actually got lucky... On my 94 integra, that bolt was rusted to the inside of the bushing (completely fused basically) and I had to cut through each side of that bolt with a serious air tool. Anyway, gl with yours!!

I would buy the bolt from dealer, and replace lca's anyway. Last resort, maybe you could cut the part of the bolt that's left between the strut support and the lca and once you remove the strut assembly, try to release the rest of the bolt by spraying it down (soaking) in PB blaster and maybe using some kind of pliers to turn it. This would only be possible if there was enough bolt left so try not to cut it down flush...

Hope this helps.

I have a set of aftermarket lca's from a 94 integra that was lowered. They prob fit your 95 civic (almost positive). lmk what you decide on...

That happened when my friend was installing shocks on a integra. Took it to a shop. Assholes said they could take it out. They did but not the way we thought they would. They cut the bolt end welded on the lca, slipped the bolt out and put a screw with the same width and bolted it down. Hope that made sense?

I took the LCA off with the shock assembly. Here are the pics, anyone know where I could go to take care of this?

Take the part to a local machine shop where pros have a set of screw recovery tools. What they do is drill a tiny hole in the broken bolt and put in a tapered left-hand threaded screw and as they screw into your broken bolt, the lefty screw grips into the broken bolt and screws it out, no damage done to anything else, all there is is a tiny hole in your broken bolt, which is unneeded.

This should only take less than 15 minutes of their time.

You should only need to buy that new replacement bolt.

Good luck.
