I need a pair of Diamond Audio HEX series shallow mount subs for a project I want to do. I would prefer 10's due to space constraints, but could possibly work with 12's.
Also interested in just 1 if thats all you have.

I have a pair of D3 12's 2ohm DVC's for trade plus possible cash on my part, OR I may just buy yours outright.

Figured I would try here, cause I HATE shipping heavy stuff!

I was hoping to find some used ones. Was hoping someone got a deal on some shallow mounts and didn't need them (space wise).

Uhhh neither of those are diamond subs....
IMO pioneer and kenwood subs are mainstream garbage. Pioneer has some of the best source units, and kenwood isn't too far behind, but their subs are left best for boat anchors. Ever wonder why you don't see speakers you can buy at bestbuy winning records? The rest of my system is DA. 2 set of hex components, pair of d6 6" mids, 400.4 amp, 600.1 amp, and currently 2 d3 12 dvc 2's.

thought you may consider a less expensive option. but good/better/best is subjective, each of us likes different sound and music. huge difference in sound based on the vehicle, equipment and even the quality of the install. single brand installs are okay for some, i am having a heck of a time getting my all jl system to sound right. but if you want diamond, go for it. those shallow subs are probably too new to find someone ready to part with them already though. you could try on some audio specific forums, like caraudio.com, elitecaraudio.com, diyma.com, etc.

 

I agree with everything you said, and i'm not brand specific, I just don't see alot of quality in most of the mainstream brands anymore.
