Hey all anyone know of a company or individual who sells replacement rear fenders for a 92 teg? I had a bad accident in the rear quarter and I think it will be cheaper to put a fiberglass or other fender replacement on top of the dent. Any help would be awesome!

 

I wouldnt glass it honestly. It will look like shit when it cracks. And as far as covering the dent with new metal, Im pretty sure whoever will just have to cut out the bad section and weld a new one in place, glass and mud the little stuff and let it roll. Call Coastal Customs. They have good prices on panels.

its called a rear quarter...and to put one in the rear quarter glass will have to be removed and its put in from the jamb to the trunk and half way up the c pillar...if you want it done right take it to a shop...i can do it for you just call me at 8703103...

If you want to get really technical, calling it the rear quarter is redundant.

 

its actually not ...now for a little lesson on bodyshop/insurance talk...the front fenders are often called front quarter panels...when we buy front clips we ask for left three quarter front etc...right three quarters etc..left.rear.etc...so you kinda have to specify these things WHEN you actually know what your talking about...

 

Obviously you don't know what you're talking about; it's a pity too, considering it's your livelihood. The fenders are on the front of a car. The quarter panels are on the rear. When you're buying a front clip--what would have three quarter panels like you just said? The front 1/4 pertains to front corner of the car. The rear 3/4 pertains to the rear corner of the car. This all depends on the repective left or right side.

Oh, the word is "you're", by the way.

 

P.S. What body shop do you work at? I'd like to steer clear of it. thnx.
