Honda - Voted Best Cars Sold In America
Toyota has been in a slight decrease the past couple years, which is what allowed Honda to surpass them. Other than that, the top 3 are the same as they've been for a very long time, both in sales, reliability, and overall happiness of the customer.
Interestingly, Toyota is the higher volume in the US, but Honda usually gets the better satisfaction ratings. You'd think people would buy more Hondas based on that logic...
I think a lot of Toyotas higher volume comes from them selling to rental companys and things of that nature. I remember when I was selling Honda back in the day, you could not buy a certain number of new Honda vehicles and have them titled in a business name. Unlike Toyata who probably sells thousands a year to Enterprise alone.
I've got a lawn tractor and a washing machine that also did very well as far as Consumer Reports goes. Still doesn't mean I like to cruise in them on a Friday night.
Nothing against Hondas, just Consumer Reports...

I work on Hondas and to be honest, I wouldn't hesistate to buy one.
No, I dont own a Honda or care to support them. I'm a Nissan/Infiniti whore.

I wish Toyota would start making fun cars again. I've noticed that they are letting quality as well as fun-to-drive aspects fall out of their cars. Where's the passion?
