Ls1 swap for the Typhoon?
I have the opportunity now to do a swap over on the truck. The value of the stuff in the truck would make the change a $0 investment.
figuring to sell the stuff for 5k, and spend 5k on an ls1 engine, adapter parts, and fab a turbo kit myself.
what do you guys think? stay the way it is or ls1 swap w/ a 76mm.
keep in mind the 4.3L is built and the ls1 would be stock. I figure the truck would be a little faster and a little better on mileage with the LS1.

depends on if you plan to keep it IMO.. as appealing as an turbo ls1 is.. the Ty is becoming more and more of a classic during resale the purity of the original configuration might be more appealing... just my .02
keep your V6 in there. that is such a rare truck that it would be a slap in the face to swap it out and fab up something else. build it. bigger turbo and up the boost if you want more power.
i agree with your statement. i don't have any plans to sell though that is normally the case when you haven't had something very long.
I think either way I couldnt get out of it what I have into it.
