is ford making a new cobra not the GT500kr but a regular cobra

There is a GT500 and variations of that.

No Cobra.

 

idk i saw a new mustang and it has all the cobra badges fog lights mounted in the center of the grill and sounds nasty is there a factory option to upgrade the Gt to look like that b/c i thought the only cobra that was for sale was the 08 GT500kr and that is not the car i saw

nevermind either i am asking the question the wrong way or you just dont understand. let me try this again. i have seen an 07-08 ford mustang with cobra badges and a cowl hood. is it a real cobra of just a want to be ?

 

car looked just like this but it had a diffrent grill (Cobra logo in the middle with fog lights) and it didnt say shelby on the hood, and no stripe just black

 

I think I understand what you're trying to ask, so I think I'll try and answer you.

FoMoCo has not made a SVT Cobra since 2004. The current top dog factory Mustang is the Shelby GT500.

When you say cowl hood, however, it leaves me to believe some poser modified a regular GT.

The Snake (Cobra) badges do NOT make this model a Cobra.

 

thank you i know i wasn't saying it right so i thought the pic would be better the guy was trying to race me ( he works next door ) and i thought i would see what i was getting in to. he doesnt have the GT 500 i will post pics of his car tomorrow if i can
