I am 20 and currently serving in the Marine Corps. I just came back from a 2 year tour in Okinawa, Japan. I just bought a 2004 VW r32. And recently, I got a ticket for doing 84 in a 65 in Sussex County while going back to base (Camp Lejeune).

Is it a reckless if the sheriff did not put reckless on the ticket?

What should I do?

Do you guys think I can get it dropped or lowered?

If it says speeding, you'll probably get speeding. If it says reckless, you're getting a reckless.

I got a 60/35 once and it was written as a speeding ticket and not a reckless, and I paid it as such.

 

i was under the impression reckless was 20 over

65 + 20 = 85

84<85

 

i thought anything over 80 was reckless?
