I have a 93 600 F2 and it starts and runs great until now. When we try to fire it up it back fires and sounds like a damn shotgun going off. It only does this when the choke is all the way on. When at half choke it acts like it wants to start but then does nothing. Any ideas?

It sounds like you are not getting enough fuel

it could be a few problems carbs a big one is the petcock on you could try to put it to reserve
