wats the best engine to put in my crx? an engine preferably that will jus plug right in?also kind of cheap

26 cc weed eater engine with a big carb....about as much power as a crx needs

what you need is a b20 out of a crv its fun,cheap,and later on you can add a vtec head

B16 is alot easier to do. 9 times out of 10 you will run into more problems with the B20.

Since you're looking for a cheap and quick drop-in motor, go with a D16Z6. Build the bottom end and boost the hell out of it.

why is that? Both motors bolt in with b seires mounts and share the same tranny same axels. Then he can uses an obd0 ls distributor and somthing like a chipped pm6 and as long as he keeps the stock redline there souldn't be any problems. Am I missing somthing? What makes it a harder swap ?


or there is alway a dohc zc swap there fun in a crx and very cheap
