Default Goin to Blacksburg in the fall

Goin to VT in the fall.....gonna be a good time....i was told i shouldn't lower my car cause of all the hills out there and i'd scrap everything......what's ur opinion on this situation?

hills, no. we have a GREAT sppedbump in collegiate suites though. my car is stock and it drags. but why would you not lower it because of hills? its not a little kids drawing, there is some curvature to them. not just points

just make sure you arnt slammed and youll be fine. most of the roads here that we have "fun" on are rather bumpy, curvy and uneven...but thats how we do it here in blacksburg...Touge style. its not the roads that get the lowered cars...its the snow ^_^

btw. welcome, im from portsmouth. what kinda car do you drive?

i drive a 1997 hyundai tiburon....

well as long as i'm not trying to drive through snow banks i should be ok in the snow right?

i was thinking bout a 1.5 inch drop around there

I scrape and I'm a stock height

You definately need to know where to slow down and where you can go fast. Also know what parking lots you can pull into and what ones you CANT, you will see where others have failed horribly by the large gouges carved into the tar

i had the same problem in my 2g...as long as u know how to get in and out of steep driveways ull be fine...

Just don't make this mistake, which I see what too often, if you think you're even the least bit low, don't try and pull in or out of the Subway lot on University City Blvd. I don't know how many times I've seen front bumpers smashed or cars bottoming out coming in/out of there.
