got an exhaust ticket yesterday night on route 7 going towards sterling/Fairfax co pkwy. was pulled over by a state trooper from loudoun county. he said i was going 70 in a 55. he lets me off with a warning for the speed but gives me a ticket for the loud exhaust. anyways i was wondering if i should appear in court to get the charges drop since this is my first exhaust ticket. go there with a receipt stating i had changed my exhaust and a picture to prove of it's existing or just pre-pay it? thanks.

any criticisms and suggestions are welcome.

also does anyone know where the court house is in Loudoun county is located? and how are there rulings? thanks.

 

You can pay the ticket or come in with a picture of your car with stock exhaust. A receipt could work too.

 

A picture/receit should work. I was in court back in August for clear corners and I showed them a pic and the judge droped the charge. Another guy also got his tint tickett droped w/a pic that he removed his tint. And I didnt havnt to pay any fines or court fees.

 

i had an exhaust ticket, i took some pics of my car with the stock exhaust and all the charges were droped, the only thing i had to pay was parking in the garage lol

 

shit you might get away with going in and jus sayn you fixed it, but receipt would help alot

also does anyone know if exhaust tickets ever became 1pt violation? i know they were tryn to make it 1pt on your record but i dont know if it ever went through

 

(court house) down town leesburge.just pay the ticket online,going to court house and bringing a picture or a receipt it wont make a difference and no points,

 

/\ dont listen to that. first of all, dude cant write worth dick, so that's one reason not to listen, secondly, ive been to the leesburg court several times for tint, being too low, exhaust, windsheild tint, and no front plate. got all of them dropped by bringing in pics.
