Default HELP???CIVIC ALTERNATOR PROBLEM

Alright here's the scenario.I got an 96 hatch i just installed a new alternator cuz the old one died so after was all was said an done i pulled the positive on the battery,guess what the car died if anyone can diagnos the problem for me it would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance

your supposed to pull the neg. off, not the positive.

i pulled both first the negative then the positive car dies either way!!!

go back and check all the wires and make sure they are plugged in, could have just over looked something.

k i appreciate the help wut wires should i look at other than the plug n the ground is there any kinda alternator fuse or ne thing thanks bro

i think i might have found the problem but im not sure so here we go its a d16y8 but i got a p75 ecu in it do u think the ecu is looking for to much amperage since b series have 90 amp alternator n thesingle cam only has 70 amp

i have a d16y8 ecu if you want it pm me. i will let it go for dirt cheap

Wow. This has nothing to do with the ECU and the amperage it draws. You have a wiring problem I think.. But yes, you should use the correct ECU for that engine. I don't want to think about the other things that probably need to be fixed on that car also..
