Default Exhaust question

I have a stock exhaust on my GSR, and ever since I put the header up there, my exhaust sorta farts when it hits a certain RPM. I peeked underneath and noticed a bit of rust on the bottom of the muffler. So is it because my muffler is rusting out, or would the header make it sound like this?

Second question, I'm looking for a catback anyways, but I need it to look/sound stock just to keep attention away from the car. What exhaust is best for this (along with good performance/best bang for your buck).

Sorry for the dumb questions and thanks in advanced.

**New question- Researched the WS2 exhaust and everything seemed like what I was looking for so I picked it up. If I were to install a high flow cat with that, would that change the tone of the sound and by how much?

1. I don't know what sound you're talking about.
2. World Sport II. Some would say RS-R ExMag, but I've never heard them personally on a DC.

Be more specific with the noise. I know its probably hard to describe especially in typing. Try looking in Comptech exhaust. They sound good and not too loud.

It's more of a rattling sound I guess, almost high pitched though like I have a fart can on it, but definitely not as intense. I don't know, but either way I'm replacing it so it doesn't really matter.
