CRX Sohc Vtec swap
How many of you have done this swap around here? is it hard? I have a crx, runs like a champ but has plenty of miles on her. I was debating going ahead and doing the swap but before i decide tryin to see how much of a pain in the ass its really going to be. Whole reason i want a d series is because it already has one in it but as you know its the junk like 70hp version. So the mounts and all will be the same but the wiring is my only problem i think.
thanks

its all cake walk, make sure you switch out your driver side motor mount bracket from your 88-91 d series to your 92 and up. also if you want to convert to obd1(better options for tunning) all you need is a obd0 to obd1 conversion harness, rewire the distrubtor, 4 wire o2, vtec oil press switch, and vtec. if you need some one to swap it out for you let me know and if you need any pointers.
oh yeah, and one thing if your going to be using the obd1 and up sohc remember that those injectors are high impedance injectors, either switch it out with the obd0 injectors( if you have the si or hf (mpfi- if not your dpfi and also have to run the other 2 injector wires) or use the obd1 injectors and get rid of your resistor box(then you have to rewire the 4 injector wires of that resistor box-5 wire plug- back to the main power wire.
