Ok what the hell is going on with this?

No matter what speed, gear or up hill or down. If I hold the gas pedal steady it will cut out and jerk. If i push pedal nothing, it runs fine. Let all the way off, it runs fine,nothing also.

So what the hell would make it do it just at a held speed or with Cruise set?

 

throttle positioning sensor????????????

 

hmmm. any more ideas from anyone?

It only happens when i hold steady pressure on the pedal!

 

plugs, wires, cap, button, ??? injectors ?

 

type-R engine is needed j/k........ pump

 

To bad its a truck? 4.3 liter

Or i would do a R swap.

 

i mean the make and model would be nice to know if u want some help

 

Idle Air Control valve, possibly

 

1998 Chevy S-10, Ext cab, 4.3 liter v6, 5 spd., Green in color, Black inside, 122k miles. all stock.
