1991 Eagle Talon TSi, 6 bolt, Wiseco 9:1 pistons, Eagle rods, Balance shaft eliminated, ported and polished head, big 16G turbo, fmic, gm maf-t, paxton afpr, 650 injectors, 3" turbo-back exhaust (Fairly quiet as 3" goes) Most vacuum discontinued (evap and emissions), egr blocked off, scanmaster and safc for logging and tuning. Engine capable of an estimtated 500 hp, withcurrent turbo setup, the car should be capable of 350-400 hp. A/C has been eliminated as well as cruise control, and the power steering has been removed and replaced with a manual steering rack.
The bad: Car will need an iac due to a surging idle, but is driveable at this time, Intercooler piping needs to be gone over and replace current clamps with good t-bolt units. Car will need tuning when this work has been done. Transmission shift linkage needs a missiing retainer at transmission that I have just not had time to try and locate. Trans shifts fine, and can be driven to prove this. Needs inspection but will pass.
The work that needs to be done (including tuning) should cost no more than $500.00. That would be a $3500.00 out of pocket expense for a complete running car that should be low 12's with no major parts changing.
