Default Reupholstering spare seats?

I got two spare seats and I want to reupholster them for shits and giggles. Is there a good place online to order about a yard or two of material from? I want to find somewhere where I can see pictures of it at the very least so I can decide what I really want to do. I've had several different ideas, and I'm not sure what I'm going to go with. I've considered doing several things, and I'm not sure if they will turn out ghetto or not. lol..

What do you guys think would look good on my blue 05 636?

BTW, anyone know of a company that just makes custom seat covers? I can't find any off of the top of my head. I used to know of a company that made them but I can't find them anywhere.

second look makes custom covers.

if you want material to do it yourself, just go to a fabric shop. i redid the seats on my 954 for about 10 bucks. hell, i have enough material left over to to 5 more seats.

I know of Second Look, but they only make one style for the 636 and I don't want my seats to be the same color as the bike. I want something wild. I was considering trying to find a bright orange fabric with a nice blue polka dot that would closely match the paint on my bike.

As I said, they may not even make it to the bike. It's just to give me something to do, and more or less a conversational piece for events if I decide to put the seat on.

None of the local fabric or upholstery shops have anything good. I looked at them. The best upholstery shop in town had 5 walls full of material, but the best one I saw looked like it belonged it a 1970 Cadillac. Fugly color!

Sargent makes some nice covers, and you can pick many options. If you want to do it yourself, go to someplace like Walmart, Paul's Arts & Crafts, or Michaels...they all have vinyl that you can buy to recover your seat. Personally, I think Troll hair would look good!!
Click on the SuperSportbikeLinks link below my signature and look to the Paint & Bodywork section. Sargent should be in there...maybe some others as well.

I don't want seat covers bro.. No one makes decent seat covers for the 05/06. This is something I want to do myself.. None of the fabric stores, or even upholstery shops have what I'm looking for. Do you know of an internet "store"?

I've got an open mind, but I'd really prefer to either something like marine vinyl or leather on the chance that it MIGHT get wet... I ride in the rain periodically.

go to a auto/marine upholstery shop. one that does carson tops and boat upholstery and tops. if they can't get you what you want, no one can.

there's a good upholstery shop on the blvd in norfolk, near hi-dust. it's right behind the chinese food place. back in the day when i had my 1st civic they ordered me all the white marine vinyl and royal blue tweed for my interior. they have a HUGE selection of stuff there. you could probably get a yard of scrap material for a couple bucks, and it'd do 2 seats no problem.

I checked with the auto upholstery shop here locally that's supposed to be the best in the business, and they don't have shit. If they have to order it for me, they want me to buy the whole roll. I only need a yard.. That's why the internet is where I'm looking.
