Default WTT : 05 Suzuki GSX-R 600 - Its a longshot, but hey

I have a 2005 suzuki gsxr 600 with 750 miles. Body perfect, never put down, a 3" crack in the fairing from it being in the shed.

Heres the scoop :
I bought the bike from a co-worker (navy) that had it in hurrican katrina. It got flooded. He bought another bike after that with the intent of restoring this one. He had it at a friends house where they tore it down to see how everything was. His friend ended up getting a divorce and she kicked him out and threw out most of his stuff. Alot of the bolts and a few other things were thrown out/lost. I have about 95% of the bike right now, but it is in peices.
I have bought a complete new wiring harness front to back. That is all I have done to the bike in the past 9 months besides clean it up and take inventory of what it needs.

It needs :
Gauges
Muffler can
Misc bolts
Chain
Battery
Rear wheel spacer
Head gasket
Main bearings
Possibly headlight (I have one, can probably be cleaned out)

Thats all I can think of off the top of my head.
The frame and plastics are perfect (aside from the stated crack), the motor will be fine once cleaned up, and bearings + gasket is replaced, the wiring is new, I have the radiator, headers, ECU, wheels, tires, ignition, pretty much everything but the parts listed above.
I don't have the title for the bike, he got stationed somewhere else before I could get it. I will provide a bill of sale, and you can check the vin to be sure it is not stolen. The title is clear, it was never taken against the insurance co. IE not salvaged or anything like that.

I just don't have the time or money to work on this bike. I have been working on my 2 DSM's and that is taking up all I have.
I would like to trade the bike for a running bike 600cc or less in decent condition. Your probably laughing by now, but hey I said it was a longshot, and my bike only needs $1000 or less to be 100% again. Street value on it in mint running condition is what, like $6500-7000 ??

Oh yeah, Im in Norfolk, and the bike is red and black.
Was told when I bought that the head had gone into the machine shop to be rebuilt. I cannot confirm that, but it looks good.
Oh, and i'm not looking to part it out, so please don't ask.

Nope, a new one is $8900. I have checked into it, street price and NADA is right at $6500-7000.
Like I said it doesn't need more than $1000 to be %100 again, and will be damn near brand new. The thing only has 750 miles of wear and tear.

Not really looking to sell it anyway, was hoping to trade for an older sportbike, but have had 2 offers, one for $3000, and one for $2800. Still debating.

Yeah, long shot is right. You'll never find someone to do what you're asking.

Since when is being flooding not considered "tear"?

Yeah in a way, but that has no impact on things like tires, metal to metal grindage, etc. "typical wear and tear"
