Take Metro to Europe: Cross Borders without Leaving DC
On May 12, 2007, the embassies of the member states of the European Union and the Delegation of the European Commission to the United States will open their doors to the public for a celebration of the diversity and unity of the Europe.
From 10:00 am until 4:00 pm, visitors will get a rare, behind the gates glimpse at the European embassies, many of which are among Washington, DC's architectural and historic highlights.
Come and join us for a colorful program of European culture, cuisine, and friendship! A free shuttle bus service will help you see more of Europe in DC on May 12.

That's really cool and I'm actually going to be in NOVA that day. Hmmm.....
I've been in the Brazilian Embassy and it's loaded with cool artifacts and guys with big guns.

They have these signs posted all over the metro trains. Looks interesting. Better than the typical breast cancer awareness march posters they usually advertise for! Then again... i'm all for the Save The Titties foundations!
There are some really neat looking embassy buildings I'd love to check out but, I'll be getting smashed at DC Chili Cookoff that day.
