So I got a message this morning from my friend (He had a power of attorney to drive the car while I'm deployed) saying that my car was stolen. Needless to say, I'm pissed about it. I didn't get too much information, but he filed a police report, and I should get a copy of that. I'll let you guys know more as soon as I find out, but here's the skinny on it.

Time stolen: Sometime on 4/20/07
Location: Hampton or Newport News
Car: 1985 Toyota Corolla GT-S hatchback
Color: Red (Also have some rust on the rear fenders, sunroof, and the hood's busted up. My turn signals were stolen beforehand, so that might be something else to look for)
Mods: AE101 engine with T3 ITBs and AE111 ECU. Spark plug cover and cam cover are painted red, with the Toyota symbol and "TWIN CAM 20" in silver. Some dual barrel exhaust on it. No radio, no HVAC control, hole in the firewall where you can see the distributor. License plate is Virginia, reads "HINGA"

Yea, no offense but I don't see car thieves prowling the area looking for a car to steal with rust, tore up interior, etc.

how is ur buddy on cash? he's not a crack head right? I think he sold ur shit.. but if ya get a police report it'll show he didnt sell it cause they could trace it back to show that he sold the car. lol i jus dont see anyone lookin for old beat up cars to steal. however, it has a nice motor so maybe he was braging about it and someone over heard it? i dunno.. but either way, good luck man.

Seriously, insurance will give you like $300.00 for if its never recovered. Sucks, but if it comes back and it's missing crap, the yay deductible and see what you can claim. Lot's of scams going down as of late watch yourself and pray you get that car back in one pc.
