Anyone have the honor of getting screwed over by Jimmie from Direct Performance?

Well I guess he closed his doors so he could not get served. What a coward, guess you know when your wrong you cant face it like a man

 

My suggestion to all that even think of using Direct performance is not to. Jimmie is not by far a good business person. Real Shady practices!!! All the shops I use to go to I would tell them where my engine was and who was doing the build up, from Mill. to Abacus, they would shake their head once I said Jimmie name, so apperantly Im not the only one that thinks and knows Jimmie has sorry customer service and scamming ways. If you do use him only use him because he gave you a cheaper price on something small and only on things that you will have installed that day and take home asap. Do not ever leave your engine or car at his shop. Here are a couple of other stories from the shady shop:

1- Yeah jimmy screwed me pretty good, I left my teg there just for somethin simple he ended up pullin apart the dash and rewiring stuff which i never told him to do (which ended up taking him 2 days) then wanted me to pay for it. He also cut a hole in my headrest and denied doing it.


2- Brother brought in his car to have his motor timed and get it in decent running condition(fully built with about 20 miles on it needed it tuned), drove there fine no issues, they told him they couldnt help him after messing with it for awhile. When he left he didnt get a mile down the road and his motor popped. They told him take it to abacus(where it was built) and tell them it just happened out of nowhere, he was told to be sure not to mention he brought it to them before hand(Obviously very shady).

A long story ensues but thats besides the point, obviously I have nothing good to say about them.

Thats Jimmie always busy after he has your money. NEVER pay this shady person all the money first. A real busniness will have money to cover the rest and not ask for all up front. Im telling any new person thinking of the Shady DP do NOT use em, unless you are ready to use the KY, because he will screw you over and over.

 

I've never had any issues with Jimmy, I guess because I dont really deal with him. RJ is a good guy and pretty easy to deal with. I've done a couple of side jobs/turbo piping for them but that's about it.....

 

Rj Bryan and D and Todd are all good no bullshit from them
