need alittle help
after many, many, many nights of wondering, i've made up my mind....i want to run my bike naked....i know alot of people are against it but i dont care its not their bike.....now i know that when i run it naked i'm going to need a DOT approved headlight, i've seen the stock one they make for the E version for my bike, but i dont like it and i've also did alittle research online and found one that i really fell in love with

if anyone knows where i can get one of these or if you have one in the 757 that your trying to get rid of let me know

oh and before i forget... i was looking at thread with the bandit before you started working on her and then i saw the one when you were done(for the most part) with her, and the one thing that cought my eye was the handle bars......my question is...how did you get them like that???, cause that is the same way i want my GS bars to be after i throw on the headlights

well, there's two ways you can do bars like that, either find some clip-ons that fit your fork size, and mount them like i did, or, you can get "clubman" style bars that mount just like the stock bars do, but instead of bending up, they bend down. clubmans are more traditional "cafe" type bars, and would be the cheaper way of doing it. i just happened to have a set of clip-ons laying around that were the same size as the bandit's fork tubes.

ok so i've been online for awhile now looking for some bars....i found one or two companies that make them for my bike but i wasnt really feeling them, but i did find a set of clip-ons from vortex that look pretty good but my only problem is, i dont know what size to get....you by chance wouldnt happen to know???
37mm
if you can find a used set of 1st gen cbr600 hurricane clip-ons, they're the same diameter.
to put clip-ons on it, you're gonna have to move the fork tubes up thru the trees to mount the clip-ons above the clamp, or they can be put below the clamp, if you don't mind them being that low. that's how i had mine mounted on the 400.
