Default Whistler Fuzion radar detector

Anyone have one of these or know anything about their range, etc? I've had a couple Whistler radar detectors in the past...they've been okay for the price. Seems like a decent detector, plus it's not quite as obvious as one stuck to the dash

It's just as blatantly illegal as anything else on the market in VA, enjoy! Do us all a favor and don't post a 'legal advice' thread when you get caught.

I hope he wouldn't ask for legal advice due to that... It is a slap on the wrist. Although guys ask for exhaust tickets, so I guess he might.

Radar detectors give off similar-band radiation, which is why they can be detected. The better ones are higher gain and more effectively shielded, so their emission signature is lower, but they can often be detected too. Just like anything else, it's all down to the technology you're up against. Better funded police departments might have much more up to date equipment than Hillbilly County PD.. The best defense is to not use one, or not whine when you're caught.

I didn't ask for a smartass remark, I simply asked if anyone has had any personal experience with said detector.

I know that in reviews, the Whistlers actually perform better with VG2 protection, even moreso than a Valentine One

If you don't want to get detected... stop paying for auto insurance. They're the ones donating millions to radar detection technology for the highway patrol.
