hopefully everyone that has a bike has a license, but I know what you are saying. I started riding in 1987 and never actually got my endorsement until 1993...just never got pulled over. Then again, that's also when I bought my first sportbike, and really started riding!

I rode for several years before ever getting a REAL license.. Just rode on the little learners permit you get when you take the written part of the test. I'm not sure why I didn't take the riding portion of it when I took the written, but I didn't. I finally did early this year and didn't have a single problem with it, and now it's certainly a relief to ride legal.

I should have done it a long time ago! I know a lot of people that ride with no license, and many of which don't put plates on their bikes either, or have bogus plates. No thanks.. That's not for me!

 

why you need one of those?

 

no license for over a year. Sold bike then got a license like 2 years later when I was able to get into a MSF class on a fluke. I bet if it wasn't a 3-4 month wait that a lot more people would have a license
