Default Need a garage.

So my turbo needs rebuilt and my motor is loosing compression so its going to need rebuilt as well in the near future. But I dont have a place to work on my car. I could build up a motor in my room, just dont have a place to work on the car.

For those of you that live in apartments or just dont have a garage, what do you do? Is it ok to rent a slot in one of those storage places to work on a car? I know they let you store cars in them, but I would think they would frown apon working in them.

I was just wondering because I want to park my car for awhile and pull the motor and what not.

some of the storage units have power hookups and yes you can work on cars in them. shouldnt be a problem for personal use. if you were trying to open a garage in a storage unit they would have a problem with that though
