i just recently bought some coilovers. im wondering how long the install will take? this is for a 92 civic 4 door.

by yourself?....2-3 hours..........with a buddy doing one side and you doing the other, an hour to 2 depending on little stuff like a bolt or nut giving you a problem and not wanting to come off or some shit like that..................

Just make sure you have some tape for the coilovers so you can tape the rings to the shocks. Should take 2 hours or so. Make sure you have a easy to us spring compressor too.

if you drive it up to york county for a couple of hours me and a friend will do it in 2 hours for a small fee

thanks, but no thanks. a friend has a spring compressor, and ill have an alldata step by step printout, so hopefully it will go smooth. but until they are installed, my wheel gap owns you all.

you shouldnt really need the spring compressor. the stock springs are going to decompress, but your coilovers shouldnt have to be compress in order to go on. i was just offering because we just put new struts/shocks on my crx today and it was a breeze, and it would be the same deal for your civic. and he has air tools

yeah, it should be simple, but with me, nothing is ever that simple.

I dont understand what you are trying to tape to the strut? the coilover sleeve itself?
