Been posting sporadically and decided after a year+ I should probably introduce myself.

Hi, my name is Matt, and I'm a beater-holic.

I've been in Charlottesville for a while, but I'm moving to Richmond at the end of the month. I've met a few of you, and definitely hit these forums for info on more than a few occasions.

Here are my current projects, that will probably always be projects. The Contour SVT in the background is the daily, and the TurboCoupe is getting close to everyday reliability.

i don't know if you can see it in the pic, but it looks as if some careless construction worker has placed siding on the back of your contour.

It's actually a slide from a child's swing set. Spray painted. And you can't see the flame stickers from this angle. Or the carbon fiber tape.

Don't worry, it's coming off when the body gets painted and the holes can be filled.

nah i'm just messing with you. one of the first cars i drove was a 5 speed contour SVT, i was in love immediately...

 

I kinda like the contours. call me crazy i really like the turbo coupes... If memory serves me correctly cant they handle something like 30 lbs of boost? "i know the turbos cant put that out tho"
