Default Cobb AP

I am wondering where I can purchase a Cobb Accessport for my 06 STI in the dc area? Thanks! Also, is the Street Tuner worth getting? Anyone had success with it?

Mach V/Ultimate may be able to get it in for you. However, chances are you will save some money ordering it online.

If you insist on getting a tuneable ECU from a local vendor, TurboXS is in Gaithersburg and you can get your UTEC directly from them.

buy the cobb ap used online for $450-500. i think the street tuner is worth it now since it went from $500 to like what $195 or something.

its cheaper if you buy it online then it is if you go to ultimate or mach v and shipping is fairly cheap on it

How big do you plan to build your sti? If youre going big right now is the perfect time to pick up a used utec. The new firmware that will be released this week will allow you to run speed density. No more bigMafs.

-Speed density
-Multiple maps
-Knock indicator blinks your check engine light
-3d solenoid control (metanol injection)
-Flat foot shifting
-Launch control

streettuner pros:
AVCS mapping. (utec cant do it)
Deals with weather changes better.
Can turn off specific check engine lights.
