the 757 guys had a good meet, why is it that the nova guys never get anything together to do that? and if you check my other posts, i know i constantly try to get a meet going but i worry about people not showing up, opinions or ideas would be great, the megameet was all we had and i dont think anyone in va could out do that but if everyone put in their ideas we could atleast get a nova meet atleast once this summer

 

One thing you have to realize is, this is NoVA. The cops here will get you for everything they can, in 757 they are more lienient. (sp)

 

yeah i guess your right, last night we went to the oh so exciting burger king on 28 and went to wal mart on liberia were alot of people met up and the cops kicked us out of there and we were in the very back but i guess when you got people do rice manuevers thru the parking lot you ask for trouble, but it would be nice to get alot of nova people together for the day but theres always a few bad apples that could ruin it

 

there used to be the ftc meets way before mega meet which is what megameets copied.
there are a bunch of small hang out places around NoVA and some of them are even 7 days a week. everyone stays in their own area of nova instead of driving from 1 end to another.
o and if you build it they will come. if you organize something and have full permission for hundreds of cars and tousands of people to be there it will happen, its just finding those locations is tough.

 

yeah i remember going to the ftc once and on my way home a fairfax cop gave me a ticket for my exhaust and i never went back, then you got burke which i think people meet at the shell station but what about a public park in nova we wouldnt need permission then but it would have to be a big parking lot

 

Most Parks charge for a Permit to have a meeting there..

 

Yea I went to that FTC and got a $87 tickett for clear corners!!!! like OMG

 

why dont we all meet up either in the dulles town center parking lot or the chick-fil-a near it. Alot of cars meet up there on friday, we can all be there one friday, or i can talk to one of the off duty L.C.S. and he can supervise our stupidity. I have tried to get something on honda tech, but there all suckas.

 

hey guys if u have any ideas why dont talk to ryan about it he runs the mega meet and i know hes always open to ideas n stuff.

 

I live 5 minutes from there, and like 8 minutes from Dulles.
